Ged, VA in AGSI

After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, I spent five years working as a Store Manager in the food industry. Seeking a career change that aligned with my degree, I decided to pursue a role in recruitment. Applying to numerous companies that prioritized candidates with experience in the field was a challenging battle for me. Despite facing numerous rejections, I was fortunate that AGSI saw potential in me and opened new doors for the career shifter that I was

Working at AGSI without prior corporate experience presented both highs and lows, I had to learn everything from scratch—the ins and outs of recruitment, strategies, all while navigating the challenges of the US market. Despite these challenges, the excitement of learning something new always kept me motivated. After a year of hard work and mastering the ropes, I was promoted to handle not only recruitment processes but also HR tasks for my client.

A memorable and life-changing experience since my time with AGSI was being part of a pioneering team for a new account that grew to become one of AGSI’s largest accounts in just one year. The feeling of fulfillment, knowing that I contributed to a significant success, is one of the treasures I hold close to my heart.

AGSI’s culture of building trust deeply resonates with me. I strongly believe that trust is the key to building stronger relationships. In everything I do, I ensure that people can always count on me to deliver.

With the company’s continued support through personal and professional development training, and by being in a collaborative environment, I look ahead to advancing my skills in Human Resources, taking on more leadership responsibilities, and making a significant positive impact on the organization.

For those who see themselves in my shoes…

“Jump in and learn as you go!
Continuously improve yourself by making friends, asking for feedback, and staying positive. Setting goals and managing your time well will go a long way in maintaining a balance between your professional and personal life. Lastly, your eagerness and adaptability will take you to greater heights.”
